Adopt a cat
Before leaving our care, all of our cats and kittens will have been checked thoroughly by a vet for any health issues, given flea and worm treatments, blood tested for FIV/FeLV (feline aids and leukaemia virus), vaccinated, micro-chipped and, if old enough, neutered.
Please ask your vets how much they would charge you for an initial course of vaccinations, flea and worm treatment and micro-chipping your cat. Add in the cost of neutering and you soon realise what a great deal adopting from us can be!
Our adoption fee is £85 per cat/kitten. However, we do not make any profit from the re-homing of our cats/kittens, as the fee charged rarely covers the costs of the above treatments and procedures food, litter and toys whilst they are in our care.
If you feel able to make a donation on top of the fee that would, of course, be gratefully received. We are able to reclaim Gift Aid if you are a UK tax payer. This means that we can reclaim from the government a whopping 25p for every £1 donated at no cost to you! We know times are hard so thank you for your decision to re-home a CP cat.
Where a kitten is re-homed and is too young to be neutered, we offer advice and assistance to get them neutered at the appropriate time and follow up to ensure this has gone smoothly.
It is our policy to carry out a home visit prior to adoption of a cat or kitten. This is an informal visit by a couple of our volunteers in your own home or at the place where the cat will be living.
Click on the link below for details of some of the cats and kittens currently looking for new homes. We often have other cats available whose photos and details have not been added to the web page yet so please get in touch for more information on these.
